Presented by Equinox Vigil in partnership with the City of Calgary. Featuring a photography exhibition, workshop and artist talk by Candace Makowichuck, Edmonton Cemeteries Artist in Residence. Makowichuk specializes in historical photographic processes and predominantly works with cyanotype, bromoil, gum bichromate and silver gelatin. Working primarily with a historic bellows sheet film camera and 19th century photographic processes, her work references common locations by capturing elements of space and time and the intersections between urban sites, memory and the human impulse to connect.

Exhibition: Friday and Saturday, 7-8:30 p.m. Artist talk: Friday, 6 p.m. Lantern-making workshop: Saturday, 1-4:30 p.m., $20.
