Lipton’s solo exhibition is a science-fiction narrative that explores the nature of human experience in relation to futurist technologies, innovation, virtual communication and space travel. Written as a homage to Harlan Ellison’s Canadian-produced science fiction series, The Starlost (1973), the story follows three characters as they journey through deep space in an attempt to save remaining descendants of human civilization aboard The Ship Ultimo.
