It sneaks up on us out of the blue, but for most folks, the irresistible urge to spring clean hits like a ton of bricks and cannot be ignored. While dusting the valances and polishing the floors are well and good, cleaning out the closet is where the real payout is. This year, not only can you feel that inexplicable satisfaction of getting your life (and wardrobe) under control, but thanks to a new initiative by Brookfield Homes, you can also help the Women in Need Society of Calgary by turning over your gently used items.
Partnering with live radio blog, Get Real Live, for The Calgary Spring Clean, Brookfield Homes will be accepting clothing donations at its Cranston Side by Side Presentation Centre (109 Cranford Way S.E.) from now until Friday, April 19th. As an added incentive each donation translates to an entry in a draw for an iPad Mini.
Come April 20th, Get Real Live will be hosting a Oprah’s own organizational expert, Peter Walsh, for a live presentation on how Calgarians can clean up their acts, so to speak, at the Boyce Theatre in Stampede Park.
