1. Nic Cage Night at The Plaza (Friday, March 29)

Nicolas Cage is both a talented actor and a crazy person, as our Poseur’s Guide lays out. The Fifth Reel celebrates everything Cage at Nic Cage Night, with screenings of Face/Off and The Wicker Man, and a musical interlude by Seahorse.

2. Mindfire at Endeavour Arts & Event Space (Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30)
A parkour-inspired play by Tom Currie with three performances over the weekend. The night performances Friday and Saturday include a creative market, stocked with works by local artists.

3. Ballerinas, Quarterbacks and Zombies at Telus Spark (Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31)
Telus Spark presents a family-focused weekend that explores movement. There’ll be workshops by the Green Fools who will teach you how to get in touch with your inner monster. The University of Lethbridge’s Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience will illuminate the brain-body connection using software that detects neurological disorders.

4. Easter Egg Hunt in the Country at the Leighton Art Centre (Saturday, March 30)
What would Easter weekend be without an egg hunt? Hundreds of eggs will be scattered around the Leighton Art Centre and kids will get a chance to find a golden ticket, which will earn them an Easter bunny prize pack.

5. Stars at MacEwan Hall, U of C (Saturday, March 30)
