Theatre Calgary presents The Kite Runner through Sunday, Feb. 24.

The novel by Khaled Hosseini was a runaway bestseller, the film was an international hit and now The Kite Runner is soaring in at Theatre Calgary, in a co-production with Citadel Theatre. Spanning decades and countries, the play tells the story of two boys, Amir and Hassan, who grow up together in the same house, although they live very different lives.

But if you don’t have your tickets yet, you better get on it. There are limited-availability tickets to the matinee Sunday, Feb. 17, as well as the evening performances on Thursday, Feb. 21 through Saturday, Feb. 23. Your chances are better for the Wednesday, Feb. 20 show, as well as the matinees on the weekend of Feb. 23 and Feb. 24, which is closing day. Theatre Calgary’s next production, God of Carnage, runs March 20 through April 7.
